The year was 2020...
That's not the caveman, although he looks like one.
It's the Author, Alan St. Jean.
There's his Covid dog, Allie. She's a cutie.
There's his Covid beard. It was a thing.
For two years we struggled. All of us. Authors, Teachers, but most of all, our kids. Nobody had the answers. The world went crazy with too much fighting and too little toilet paper. As an Author, Alan St. Jean had time to reflect. Kids weren't reading like they used to.
So many distractions, so many reasons.
That's when he got an idea...to write a book, a series of books, that not only encouraged kids to read but also taught them how to write!
He needed color, humor, illustrations, music...

He needed a team.

Alan St. Jean has been visiting schools and teaching students about the world of writing for well over twenty years.
